About me

  • In my work as a theatre designer, I strive to create immersive environments that transport audiences into the heart of the story. I believe that every detail, from the play of light to the texture of a backdrop, serves as a vital piece in the storytelling puzzle. My designs are deeply rooted in the narrative and emotional arc of each production, aiming to enhance the mood, highlight the subtleties of character, and bring out the thematic undertones.

    In lighting design, I focus on using light as a dynamic character in its own right—shaping spaces, guiding the audience's gaze, and evoking emotion through color, intensity, effects, and texture. I find inspiration in natural phenomena and the ways light interacts with our everyday world, bringing those elements onto the stage to create moments of wonder and inward reflection.

    As for scenic painting, my approach is to blend realism with a touch of the surreal, creating backdrops and scenic elements that are both grounded in reality and rich with artistic interpretation. I enjoy experimenting with textures, layers, and perspectives, crafting spaces that are not just sets but extensions of the story's emotional landscape.

    Ultimately, my vision is to create designs that resonate deeply with audiences, leaving lasting impressions that elevate the immediate experience of the performance. Through collaboration with directors, actors, and the entire creative team, I seek to weave a cohesive visual tapestry that elevates the storytelling and enriches the theatrical experience.

  • I have been in the creative realm for over 8 years developing experience in the theatre production scene, I have cultivated a deep passion for theatre design, particularly in lighting and scenic focuses. My journey began in high school, where I first discovered the transformative power of storytelling through design. Since then, I've honed my craft through hands-on experience and formal trainings, including certifications in advanced lighting systems and scenic artistry. My work is a blend of technical skill and artistic conceptual vision, always striving to create immersive environments that captivate and inspire audiences.

  • For my early education I attended a performing arts Highschool for 4 years piquing my interest to continue in the design entertainment world as a career. I then earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Technology at Florida Atlantic University actualizing my dream for this path as a career. During my time in University I developed experience working with a professional theatre in the area doing electrician work and eventually programing a show.

    I also became certified in the ETC ION XE 20 Console Levels 1 - 4 and The ETC HOG 4 Console and have used a couple of other boards over the years.
